Position Title:

JOB SUMMARY:

Design, develop, test and document software for a navigation and surveillance system in the aerospace industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide design and test documentation for software developed on a complex hardware/software integrated system
• Software development for a real time system with user and hardware interfaces.
• Perform design verification testing of software
• Develop under formal environment following company standards and processes
• Some travel required.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Windows Networking experience
• Unix/QNX desirable
• RTOS desirable
• Software configuration tools:  PVCS Desirable
• Software development tools desirable:  Lint, Bullseye, Ensure++
• Automated SW testing desirable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• C++/C development experience (3+ years)
• Microsoft Development Environment:  Visual Studio and MFC applications
• Experience with Complex hardware/software integrated systems.
• User Interface Development (1-3 years).
